Whether you’ve recently received a formal autism diagnosis, you’ve come to identify as autistic through self-diagnosis, or you’d like to support someone close to you following their diagnosis, this online course is here to support you. We understand that exploring your autistic identity can bring up a mix of questions, emotions, and even frustrations – and that’s completely normal.

It aims to offer information about what Autism is, common experiences associated with Autism, and how to discuss Autism in a respectful, inclusive, and affirming manner, all from a neuroaffirming perspective.

Our accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England training gives you the confidence and skills to recognise the early signs of mental ill health, offer first-line support, and guide someone toward professional help. The full two-day course includes interactive learning, a comprehensive workbook, and an official MHFA England certificate. To keep your knowledge current and your accreditation valid, we also offer a concise MHFA Refresher- a focused four-hour session that updates best practice and reinforces key techniques so you stay prepared to support colleagues, friends, or community members.

Our accredited Suicide First Aid training is a one-day, evidence-based course that builds confidence to recognise warning signs and engage in safe, supportive conversations about suicide. Through practical guidance and interactive learning, you’ll develop the skills to assess risk, provide immediate support, and connect someone to appropriate professional or community resources. Completion includes a comprehensive workbook and official certification, ensuring you leave equipped to respond compassionately and effectively in a crisis.
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training
Our Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the required national standard for all health and social care staff. Co-delivered with autistic Experts by Experience, it provides practical guidance on delivering safe, respectful, person-centred support to autistic people and those with learning disabilities.
We offer two flexible formats: Tier 1 webinar training, a convenient online introduction, and Tier 2 in-person training, a more in-depth, interactive session for up to 30 participants that fully meets statutory requirements. Both options ensure your team remains compliant while building the skills and confidence to provide genuinely inclusive care.
